Course Description
This course bridges the gap between introductory and advanced Python courses. While there are many excellent introductory Python courses available, most of them do not go deep enough to apply your Python skills to research projects. In this course, after reviewing the basics of Python 3 for the first time, we learn about tools commonly used in search settings.
Using a combination of a guided introduction and more in-depth independent exploration, you'll practice your new skills in Python with different case studies selected for their scientific breadth and coverage of different Python features.

This course track includes revised assessments and a new module on Machine Learning.
